When I was designing October’s Candle Club box, I wanted it to feel like a pocket of calm before the end-of-year busyness begins to build. Like lemon steeping quietly in your morning tea.

Sun-warmed timber. Lemon and ginger steeping in your tea. Fresh-cut grass drifting in through open windows.

Country Cottage feels like linen curtains moving in the breeze. Like a wooden farmhouse table catching afternoon light. Like early summer mornings before the world gets busy.

Light it while you journal, while you tidy, or while you make tea and leave your phone in another room.

As always, this candle is hand-poured in small batches using soy wax and made exclusively for Candle Club.

Country Cottage also came with a curated seasonal "Cottagecore" playlist — warm, mellow, softly nostalgic tunes with very little lyrics.

The kind of music that plays in the background while you cook, open windows, water plants, or fold laundry on a Sunday afternoon.
