Bring The Outdoors In With Evergreen: Our May Candle Club Collection Revealed

Evergreen was inspired by stepping into a lush New Zealand forest in winter — crisp pine, cedarwood, soft smoke and slow evenings at home. This month’s Candle Club collection includes our limited edition Evergreen candle, a handmade spruce resin balm by Conifera, seasonal journal prompts and a custom winter playlist.

Two years of Candle Club 🤎

August marks our 24th Candle Club box!

We’re now at 95 members, and many of you have been here since the very beginning (you haven’t missed a single one)… 🥹

I wanted to say “thank you” for joining, sharing with friends + giving me a reason to keep dreaming up new collections every month.

Without giving too much away, you’ll notice some updates from this month onward — a reminder to slow down, notice the season you’re in and have something (extra) cozy waiting for you each month... 📦

A few months ago, a local beekeeper kindly handed us a bag of raw beeswax and asked if we wanted to use it.

We said yes… and then promptly disappeared down a rabbit hole of rendering, filtering, testing, pouring, unmoulding, re-melting and trying again until we got them just right.

And now we have these little tapers. 🥹

Made with pure local beeswax, hand-poured in small batches and naturally golden with that subtle honey scent beeswax gives off all on its own.

No two are exactly the same, which is probably my favourite part.

They’ll be available in store + online from mid-September.

For slow dinners, reading corners, rainy days and anywhere that could use a bit more candlelight. 🕯️

We’re back at Blue Ox Babe for another cozy night of candle-making. 🕯️🤎

Join us on Thursday 27 August, 6:00–8:30pm and create your own pure soy candle from start to finish.

We’ll guide you through the whole candle-making process, from choosing and blending your fragrance to pouring your candle and finishing it off ready to take home.

You’ll have 20+ fragrances to choose from, so you can create something completely your own — no two candles smell the same.
