Join us inside the Little Batch Wax Co. warehouse for a relaxed, hands-on Saturday morning workshop where you’ll create your own 220g pure soy candle, blended with your very own unique scent, plus a room & linen spray to take home.

Settle in with coffee, tea and something freshly baked while you learn, blend and pour at your own pace.

Workshop Agenda / What to Expect

We’ll begin with a short introduction to soy wax and fragrance blending, before moving into scent creation and pouring.

While your candle sets, you can relax, chat and enjoy coffee, tea and baked treats. Once cooled, you’ll finish your candle with labelling and wick trimming before heading home with your creations.

No experience is needed.

Come solo, bring a friend or make a morning of it with family. If you love candles, creativity or simply trying something different, you’ll feel right at home.

Parking

You’ll find us tucked just behind JH Brewster on Manukau Road. Parking is available directly in front of Little Batch Wax Co. or along the tan wall beside the building. Look for the shared driveway and follow it through.

Candle + Room Spray Workshop Details

Duration: 2.5 hours

Location: Little Batch Wax Co. Warehouse, 152A Manukau Road, Pukekohe

Time: 10:00am–12:00pm

Age: Suitable for ages 12+. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Candle Club Perk: Candle Club members receive $10 off all public workshops.

Candle Cooling & Collection

Your candle needs time to cool and set before it can be safely transported. The practical candle and room-spray making takes approximately 1.5–2 hours, followed by a relaxed cooling period with coffee, tea and baked treats.

Guests are welcome to stay for the full session and take their finished candle home, or leave earlier and collect it from the studio on another day.

Policies

Ticket Policy: Tickets are non-refundable. If you can’t make it, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend. Please email us their name before the workshop so we can update the attendee list.

Safety & Liability: This is a hands-on workshop using hot wax and fragrance oils. By attending, you acknowledge that you’re participating at your own risk and agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the host. Little Batch Wax Co. is not liable for any injury, loss, damage or allergic reaction resulting from participation, except where required by New Zealand consumer law.

Allergies: Refreshments may contain common allergens, including gluten, dairy and nuts. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

Arrival: Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so we can get you settled and begin on time.

Photos: We occasionally take a few photos or videos during workshops for social media. If you’d prefer not to be included, simply let Beth know when you arrive.
